En route: memoirs from Philadelphia

Although I believe two days are enough for a visit in Philadelphia, it has some quite interesting aesthetics to offer. Its downtown is distinctly divided by the grid of really clean streets. I probably shouldn't write about weather, but the sunshine actually made my stay really charming. I liked the casts of shadows on the sterile-looking streets, which gave somewhat of a sensation of finding myself in a capsule, or a kind of urban aquarium.
Philadelphia could be seen as a vestibule of New York City. During my stay, the city seemed to be empty, and with its skyscrapers, the surroundings appeared to be adequate to adjust my mindset somehow for the upcoming New York extravaganza.
