Dust of an old soul

You closed me with keys of drama and night street tears. Left me lying in haze of tabacco smoke. Turned away your gaze. Took away bodily delights. However, despite your cruelty, you made sure I wasn't left with nothing. Before turning the keys, you'd clothed me with a thick cloak of insensibility and egocentrism. After disturbing yet enchanting Martha Marcy May Marlene seen last week, I'd chosen another indie film for this weekend. The aesthetics of We Need to Talk About Kevin is mind-blowing. Photography, short but pointed shots, enriched by the soundtrack and Tilda's pure and flawless performance make it an absorbing piece of art. Oriental emerald

My adoration of oriental patterns is enormous. It can be fresh and liberating, yet quite elegant. D&G Menswear Spring/Summer 2012 collection is still one of my favourite ones, so rich in oriental prints. Here the scarf warms the look up a little bit, because even though it's been a month since spring time began, I still can't get rid of my coat (and beanie/gloves). I'm definitely one of those who feel cold pretty easily and need lots of sunshine. They say that in about a week the weather should turn into a summer-like one, which I want to strongly believe in. Not being at Coachella and envying those who were, I've been treating myself with some videos from Florence + The Machine's live performances. Shuffle a dream

Boots - Zara , pants - Zara , trench coat - Zara , striped sweater - Pull&Bear , denim shirt - Zara . I hope my (winter) hiatus is over for good. Last weekend finally reminded me of the ones before winter, sunny and warm, perfect for getting lost in the woods. With this spring post there comes a bigger size of the photographs. I hope it makes them more perceptible. I'm a huge enthusiast of a conscious selection of films and books for a certain time (subject-wise). Some time ago I finished my Marilyn Monroe sessions. Let's Make Love was the last film I saw with her performance - so diligent, especially when dancing and singing, despite the hard time she was going through around 1960. I wish I could shuffle a dream like a movie or a book. I hate the feeling when I have the most intense dream and it vanishes from my memory with the moment I wake up.
