Jeans for Genes

The 20th of September 2013 is the Jeans for Genes Day, an annual fundraising event. This noble and exciting charity project stands for the support given to children touched by genetic disorders. The idea is very simple, "wear jeans, change lives."
I've been asked by Bucks & Co, a hunting-inspired denim brand, to team up and work together on the project to help raise the awareness of life difficulty caused by genetic disorders. To provide support and care for the children with genetic disorders in the UK and Australia, the money will be raised through donations on the Just Giving page.
In addition, I, alongside fellow international male style bloggers, have been given a pair of jeans to be re-designed. DIY. Being allowed to feel free in any possible way to customize them, I'd decided to make them short. I've cut the back pockets and a front one off, and pulled out some threads. My idea was to get the 90s-like version of female ultra short denim shorts, but at the same time I knew I couldn't go too far with the scissors (or rather up). Here you can see some before-and-after photos. If you like them and even feel like buying, they'll be put up for sale on the Bucks & Co website, from where all the money will go straight for the charity.
